ART SHARE LA PRESENTS: THE ANNUAL ELLSWORTH RESIDENCY EXHIBITION 

Join us at Art Share L.A. from March 7 to May 2 for our annual Ellsworth Residency Exhibition, presented in our Main Gallery.

 

This exhibition features Ellsworth Residency Cohorts 9, 10, and 11 and will include new work by Brenda Gonzalez, Carly Franca, Emmanuel Camacho Larios, Johnny Castillo, Karen Gibson Roc, Nolan Roy, Sandra Khalifa, Trevor Coopersmith, and Xiao Xiao Wu.

The Ellsworth Residency Exhibition reflects each artist’s distinct voice while demonstrating the power of sustained creative inquiry within a supportive community. Rooted in accessibility and artistic growth, the Ellsworth Residency Program is designed to support emerging visual artists by providing free studio space in the heart of the Los Angeles Arts District.  Throughout the residency, artists participate in studio visits and critiques with curators, critics, scholars, and fellow artists, building critical dialogue, expanding networks, and strengthening their practices.
 

The program culminates in this group exhibition, offering residents the opportunity to present their work to the public in a professional gallery setting. Artists are selected through a competitive application process reviewed by a committee of arts professionals, ensuring a dynamic and thoughtful cohort each year.
