Affordable Housing for Artists

The cost of living has become unmanageable in Los Angeles. Artists are unable to sustain their practice while working to live in this beautiful city. We are committed to combining an affordable place to live with an inspiring place to create, building community, and helping keep Los Angeles vibrant.

We offer 30 studio spaces with a newly renovated common kitchen. Units range from 400 to 650 square feet. Single occupancy only. No pets.

Art Share L.A. is the only 100% affordable housing building in the L.A. Arts District. We are committed to combining an affordable place to live with an inspiring place to create, building community and helping keep Los Angeles vibrant.

How do you know if you qualify?

+ Applicants must be currently employed or self-employed.

+ Applicants must be on the waitlist.

+ Application process can take up to 2 months.

+ Applicants can make a maximum of $46,000 annual income and at least 1.5 times the monthly unit rent.

+ Credit checks will be required for applicants who meet the above requirements.
